The Frances Browne Literary Festival Committeee is delighted to announce the dates for our 2023 Festival and Poetry Competitions

It may seem like no time since our last Festival, but we are fully immersed in planning for 2023 already. This year's festival will take kick off on Thursday 12th October and close on Sunday 15th.

We've got big plans for guests, drama, children's events and much much more. So get the dates in your diary and look out for notifications.

And it's never too early to book your accommodation if you want to stay over. Hotels in Ballybofey-Stranorlar can book out months in advance for the weekend of our festival.

The Frances Browne Poetry competition will open for entries on 20th June. The closing date will be 20th August. Check out the competition guidelines here, and sign up to get notifications when it goes live on our site.
